Atiku Abubakar, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for president this year, stated that Nigerians would be in danger if they handed power over to Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president; and Peter Obi, of the Labour Party (LP).
On Monday, the former vice president gave a speech in Lagos at the Presidential Dialogue on the Economy hosted by the Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG).
He stated that the APC government’s failure is causing a steady decline in Nigeria’s economy.
He claims that Nigeria’s earnings from oil and gas have decreased since the APC administration took office.
He stated that Peter Obi lacks the necessary experience to lead Nigeria.
We must avoid making the same mistakes we made in the past because experience is essential. He stated, “It is too risky for Nigerians to give their future to a newcomer or the national leader of the same party that brought us to this sorry situation.”
