Biafra Group Reacts To Attack On A’Ibom Community By Fulani Herdsmen

SAHARANEWS – Biafra Nations Youth League, BNYL, has reacted to attack on Ikot Obio Nso Community in Mkpat Enin LGA of Akwa Ibom State by suspected Fulani herdsmen.



It was gathered that suspected herdsmen invaded farmlands at Ikot Obio Nso community in Mkpat Enin Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, on Thursday, killing one Friday Etor and injuring another, Nsikak Udoh.

BNYL said attacks by Fulani Militia were becoming worst and beyond government control.

National Leader of the group, Princewill Chimezie Richard, in a statement on Saturday, condemned the attack and urged the people of Akwa Ibom State not to be afraid.

He added that the people of defunct eastern region will never be conquered by jihadists.



Richard said the attack in Akwa Ibom and current situation in Nigeria had vindicated General Philip Effiong and what he stood for, urging the people to rise to defend themselves.

He said “Time will tell what they will receive from us, the attack is signal that we should expect the worst, and we have received the message.”
