BREAKING: Organized Solidarity Rally Held In Enugu To Welcome Ekweremadu After Nuremberg Attack – See Photos

SAHARANEWS – Reactions have trailed the solidarity rally held today in Enugu State, to welcome former vice senate president Senator Ike Ekweremadu.



The rally followed barely 7 days after members of the Indigenous People of Biafra confronted Ekweremadu in an Igbo yam festival in Germany.



Residents and non-residents of Enugu State, numbering 40 were seen on Friday, rallying with the Senator, with placards condemning the alleged assault on him by members of IPOB.As reactions continue to trail the assault and rally, one of the Enugu residents who rallied with the Pro-Ekweremadu group, revealed that he received N2,000 to partake in the rally.

The 25-year-old man who pleaded anonymity said that three men came to his community on Thursday evening and mobilized people whom they paid money ranging from N500 to N2,000.“The rally wasn’t free of charge.
