Tomorrow is the long awaited Ondo guber polls. It hasn’t witnessed as much buzz and razzmatazz as the Edo polls.
My prediction for edo polls went awry so I am reluctant to jump into another prediction but as an APC supporter, I’ll naturally want APC to win. The other parties can also win based on the unpredictable nature of Ondo voters…
Before I open the floor for comments, let me briefly outline the chances of the three major candidates.
APC: APC will likely clear ondo north senatorial zone which has six lgas,win one LGA in ondo central which will be one of ifedore or idanre because of small alhaji and win at least one LGA in ondo south which is ilaje and maybe odigbo..
PDP: The pdp should take akure south and north,one of ifedore or idanre or both and get good votes in ondo town. Apart from ose LGA, I dont see them getting much in ondo north.in ondo south, Jegede should win irele and get good votes in the remaining 5 lgas.they may end up winning okitipupa also
ZIP: Ajayi should win his ESE odo LGA,ile oluji and maybe okitipupa with good votes in the other lgas.he will take ondo town and perhaps ifedore where his running mate is from.he may not get much up ondo north..
