Nigeria’s federal government, headed by President Muhammadu Buhari, has been thrown into deep confusion after the silence of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Nnamdi Kanu has been off the air since the beginning of June during which he last broadcasted on Radio Biafra.
The reason for Kanu’s silence is still unknown, but a close source told SAHARA NEWS that the IPOB leader is “busy meeting for support and engaging in serious discussions with members of the international community.”
Meanwhile, a government source said the presidency is concerned about the silence maintained by the IPOB leader.
“It’s disturbing because no one knows about his plans. The last time something similar happened was when he formed the ESN.
“Now, there are ongoing discussions and efforts to ensure that something bad doesn’t occur,” he said.
