SAHARANEWS – Emir of Daura, Umar Farouk Umar, has been hospitalised at the Intensive Care Unit of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Kastina State.
SaharaNew gathered that the Emir was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday night after suffering from high blood pressure.
Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, had on Monday shut down the emir’s palace to control the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the entire Daura Local Government Area.
Daura is the hometown of President Muhammadu Buhari.
