BREAKING: releases, vindicates previous Jigawa Gov. Saminu Turaki of N8.3Bn extortion charges

Government High Court sitting in Dutse, Jigawa State has released and vindicated Representative Ibrahim Saminu Turaki of the N8.3 billion defilement allegations liked against him by the Monetary Violations Commission (EFCC).

Turaki, a previous Legislative leader of Jigawa State and 3 Organizations have been being investigated since May 4, 2007.

The EFCC hauled the pair to court more than a 33-count charge irritating on expansion and misappropriation of state reserves.

The managing judge, Equity Hassan Dikko, who conveyed the decision, struck out all charges and released every one of the blamed people for need for industrious indictment.

The court additionally requested that the movement reports of the first charged individual be delivered to him with quick impact.

Responding to the judgment, Saidu Muhammad Tudunwada one of the Saminu Turaki Guard Guidance, said the court found merit in their application for the release of the Denounced individual against the 33 count charges.

He added that with the decision, A fair consequence has been given and it is a triumph for all.
