After finishing second in the Premier League last season, Arsenal competes in the Champions League for the first time in seven years this season, making their return to the competition for the first time since 2017.

The 2023/24 Bosses Association bunch stage draw will occur on Thursday, August 31, at the Grimaldi Gathering in Monaco. UEFA.com will stream the draw, which will take place at 5 p.m.
The draw will include 32 teams, 26 of which automatically qualified for the group stage, and six winners of the play-offs, whose identities will be revealed on August 29 and 30.
Before the draw happens, groups are then parted into four cultivating pots.
In pot 1 will be the holders (Man City), Europa Association victors (Seville) and the homegrown heroes of Britain, Spain, Italy, Germany, France and Portugal. Feyenoord, the Dutch champions, received the final spot in pot 1 as Man City won the Champions League and Premier League.
Then, at that point, pots 2-4 depend on club coefficient rankings (past exhibitions in UEFA contests).
From that point, each gathering will draw a group from each pot.
A team from the club’s own association cannot be drawn. Arsenal, for instance, could not be placed in the same group as Newcastle, Man City, or Man United.

Six locations remain to be chosen, including Newcastle, Union Berlin, and RC Lens. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the play-off rounds’ second legs will take place. Teams include: AEK Athens/Antwerp, Copenhagen/Rakow, Galatasaray/Molde, Panathinaikos/Braga, PSV/Officers, Little fellows/Maccabi Haifa.
