Emami Presents Counterfeit Ologbotsere Symbols To Olu Of Warri – Culture

The appointment of Chief Oma Eyewuoma as the new Ologbotsere of the Kingdom by His Majesty, Ogiamé Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri, may rekindle tensions in Warri Kingdom, Delta State.

Until his new title, Boss Eyewuoma was the Aboludero of Warri Realm.

In any case, the troubled Ologbotsere, Boss Ayirimi Emami, in his response to the expulsion, said his symbol of office, dots and sword were unblemished despite everything with him as his hereditary legacy.

The Olu of Warri last Saturday had welcomed the Ologbotsere line to Aghofen (Castle) with hypotheses that the Olu had set out to reestablish Emami as Ologbotsere.

The Ologbotsere was urged to submit his Ologbotsere regalia in exchange for a new title held by his late father, “Eyeku,” which he rejected. The Aghófen Hall was said to be full because everyone was curious about the meeting’s agenda.

The installation of a new Ologbotsere took place on Sunday at the Palace of the Olu, despite Emami’s objection. In attendance were Palace Chiefs, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, the former Governor of Delta State, and other notable Warri Kingdom sons and daughters.

His Majesty Ogiamé Atuwatse III reportedly announced a new title for Chief Emami following the installation of Chief Eyewuoma as the new Ologbotsere. Chief Emami reportedly declined and walked out of the palace with many Ologbotsere descendants.

Even though he gave the Olu of Warri a bead and sword, Chief Emami told the story of the drama that followed. He said that his original beads and sword, which made him the “Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom,” were still there.

He told the get-together in Warri, that the occurrence at the Olu royal residence, was nothing, yet happiness to him for some reasons, including a Scriptural reference Daddy Ayo Oritsejafor delineated on Friday April 14, during the harmony meeting at the castle, “when he said if Satan realize that Jesus Christ could be praised, they could never have killed him.”

According to Chief Emami, who spoke in Itsekiri, Even though those who asked me to accept the Ogiame’s invitation knew they wanted to kill me, if I hadn’t accepted, they would have said that I didn’t want Itsekiri’s blessings.

“You guys shouldn’t be worried about anything because what wants blood won’t take palm oil from you. There are many reasons why today is a happy day. When they said that the king had sent for me, some of them said I should go and others said I shouldn’t. He that is in me is more prominent.

People who said that I should honor the invitation are more numerous than those who said that I shouldn’t. Those that encouraged me to go to the royal residence, said assuming I go, there will be harmony in Itsekiri land and I hold issues concerning Itsekiri in high regard.

“When he (the king) called me, he told me about his dream about Ikenwoli, the transient Olu of Warri, and what Ikenwoli had done. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President-Elect, has always advised me to visit the Olu of Warri whenever he meets me.

“He advised me to disregard progenitors and go to the Lord, that was precisely exact thing I did. Even Benin’s Oba addressed the issue.

“Ologbotsere’s wife is Ologbotsere’s eyes. My wife advised me when she called that I shouldn’t bring my original sword and beads today to the Palace.

“Thirteen beads; globule of Atuwaste II, my late dad and that of Ikenwoli, are my legacy, I didn’t get them. Have you ever seen me before with a single bead?

Comrade Alex Eyengho, the Ologbotsere descendants’ spokesperson, added, ” The events that took place today in the palace were written into a script. The bead and sword presented at the Palace were fakes because we were aware of the upcoming event.

The script has been ongoing. The family of Ologbotsere is not stupid. The original sword and beads are still there. When you give a title to somebody, it is till death. You don’t change it. On the king’s request, the Ologbotsere title must originate from the Ologbotsere family. Chief Ayirimi Emami remains the Warri Kingdom’s Ologbotsere.

Atuwatse III had earlier stated that he was not interested in dividing the Iwere nation in front of hundreds of sons and daughters of the Warri kingdom at the palace.

Ogiame said that he had had a lot of dreams about the problems, which is why he decided to make peace with the Ologbotsere family. Emami declined his request to assume the title “Eyela” and continue working for the Itsekiri nation.

Keep in mind that on October 5, 2021, the monarch held a ceremony in his palace to announce Chief Emami’s derobing as the Ologbotsere of Warri.
