The Department of State Services has detained Ibrahim Mustapha, a fictitious doctor and principal medical officer of Cottage hospital in Fufore in Adamawa state. He is accused of killing patients for his fictitious practice.
From January to May 2019, he is said to have performed more than 500 surgeries, resulting in the deaths of approximately 46 patients.
Marching the phony specialist in Yola on Thursday, DSS Chief in the state, Bola Olori, said the DSS has, “affected the capture of one Ibrahim Mustapha, who worked illicitly as a PMO in Fufore Bungalow clinic, Fufore nearby government area of Adamawa state”.
