Ikpeazu alleged that an intentional effort was made to deny Igbo the chance to rule Nigeria.

According to Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, “powers that be” made an intentional effort to deny Ndigbo the opportunity to oversee Nigeria’s affairs.

Ikpeazu stated, “There was a deliberate attempt by powers that be to deny Ndigbo the opportunity to supervise the country’s affairs.”

In his Umuobiakwa palatial country home, the Governor made the remark as he hosted the leadership of Nzuko Umunna, a pan-Igbo political organization. He urged Ndigbo to work together to advance the people’s cause.

According to Gov. Ikpeazu, the time had come for Ndigbo to be deliberate about their strategic stance in Nigeria.

Although Ikpeazu recalled that Ndigbo, who can be found in every region of Nigeria, had made significant contributions to national development, he regretted the graveness of the Igbo conspiracy.

He argued that Ndigbo should “leverage on their unity, compromise, and understanding to craft and construct a pathway towards their political liberation” in his argument.

Mr. Onyebuchi Ememanka, his Chief Press Secretary, stated in a press statement that the time has come for Ndigbo to unite against their common foe rather than divide against themselves.

Ikpeazu stated that Ndigbo should forge a united front for their future in Nigeria rather than spend time fighting with themselves.

In addition, the Governor stated that the Ndigbo must examine their relationship with other ethnic groups in the country.

He advised Ndigbo to broaden discussions about their political survival in order to improve their relationship with other ethnic groups throughout the nation.

Ikpeazu, who lost to incumbent Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe in his bid for the Senate, pledged his unwavering support for Nzuko Umunna.

Prior in his discourse, the head of the appointment, Nze Ozichukwu Chukwu said their visit to the Lead representative was to additionally talk about with him on the way forward for Ndigbo.

He said it was the ideal opportunity for Ndigbo to meet up and talk as one individuals.

He praised Ikpeazu for being brave enough to congratulate Dr. Alex Otti, the new governor of Abia, on his victory and for urging other candidates not to distract him from court cases.

The delegation also included Iyom Josephine Anenih, a former Minister of Women’s Affairs.
