During a press conference held in Lagos on April 17, Nigerian singer David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, clarified the reason behind not paying tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi, or including sad songs in his latest album “Timeless”.
The artist expressed that he wanted to release a classic album without any emotional songs to prevent his fans from becoming emotional after the loss of his son. He also stated that if he were to make sad songs, it would be an entirely separate project. Additionally, Davido discussed his personality and his 12-year career in the music industry.
He also addressed queries about his upcoming concert “Timeless” on April 23, 2023, at Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos.
