Nigerian security agents has arrested a lady after she wore a cloth made with the colors of Biafra flag during her birthday in October 2021.
The lady who goes by the name, Idara Gold, on social media was arrested in the early hours of Monday.
Sources told OAK METRO that she was tracked and nabbed in Enugu State where she was blindfolded and taken to undisclosed location.
“She is an Akwa-Ibom lady, Nigerian security agents tracked and arrest her in Enugu this morning for wearing a gown made with the colors of Biafra flag,” said her friend who confirmed the report.
The incident occurred barely one month after Nigerian soldiers brutalised and arrest veteran Nollywood actor, Chiwetalu Agu, for wearing an outfit that looks similar to Biafra flag.
The Nigerian authorities are yet to comment on the latest incident which rights activists described as unlawful and a violation of human rights.
