Maria Ude Nwachi Wins Pulse Africa Facebook Influencer of the Year Award

Maria Ude Nwachi, a former member of Ebonyi State House of Assembly and former TA on New Media, specifically Facebook to immediate past vice president Yemi Osinbajo has won the Pulse Africa Facebook Influencer of the Year Award.

She was nominated along with MC Mbakara and others.

Nwachi grabbed the highest number of votes, joining the list of total number of 21 awardees.

At the award ceremony, she was unavoidably absent and she picked her plaque through a representative.

With the theme “The Golden Era – Bold & Elegant”, the Tivoli Garden in Ikoyi, Lagos played host to the influencer industry for the awards’ third edition on Saturday, October 7, 2023.

It took place simultaneously in all Pulse Africa markets in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, Uganda, and Côte d’Ivoire.

Organisers say the Pulse Influencer Awards is dedicated to celebrating the digital creativity, innovation, and community-building efforts of influencers.

Former Big Brother Naija housemates, Bella Okagbue and Tacha Akide, and Guinness World Record holder, Hilda Baci, were also awarded at the 2023 edition of the Pulse Influencer Awards.

Maria Ude Nwachi wields humongous influence on Facebook where she has millions of followers both on her pages and profiles.

She has founded several groups on Facebook with active followership. They include Igboist by Maria Ude Nwachi, Maria Ude Nwachi and Friends, Maria Ude Nwachi and Friends League, Igboist And Friends Extra among others.

Her pages and profiles were among the early ones to be verified by the social media giant.

She enjoys the loyalty of her followers across board who usually come through for her, accounting to why she grabbed this prestigious award.
