The Monetary and Monetary Violations Commission, EFCC, has cautioned Agency de Change (BDC) administrators to be careful about cash hoarders who might be offloading cash illicitly reserved.
Day to day POST reviews that the National Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Lead representative, Godwin Emefiele, on Wednesday uncovered that the peak bank will, from December 15, 2022, issue overhauled N200, N500, and N1,000 notes.

Talking regarding this situation, the EFCC Executive, Abdulrasheed Bawa in an explanation complimented the move by the peak bank, saying it is “a very much considered and convenient reaction” to the difficulties of cash the board in the country.
He said, “It is relevant to give this harsh admonition to Agency de Change administrators to be careful about money hoarders who might endeavor to utilize this valuable chance to offload the monetary standards they had wrongfully buried.”
