PDP Wishes Fani-Kayode Well As He Defects To APC

LAGOS/KADUNA – The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thurs­day said it wished previous Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, well in his future work as an individual from the decision All Pro­gressives Congress (APC).

Fani-Kayode whose defec­tion to APC has been long ex­pected attributable to his sentiment with tribal leaders of the decision party was introduced to Pres­ident Muhammadu Buhari as the most current individual from the party at the Presidential Villa on Thursday by executive of APC Caretaker Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni and Zamfara State Governor Bello Matawale.

Addressing State House cor­respondents after the gathering with Buhari, Fani-Kayode said he evacuated from the opposi­tion Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for public solidarity.

He said he had been respon­sible for some different abandonments into the decision party.

As per him, he was in­strumental to the abandonment of three PDP lead representatives to APC, including Dave Umahi (Ebo­nyi); Ben Ayade (Cross River) and Bello Matawale (Zamfara).

He further said he has companions across partisan divisions and was charming Governors Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu); Seyi Ma­kinde (Oyo) and Bala Moham­med (Bauchi) to join the decision party.

Talking as a visitor on Chan­nels Television program ‘Legislative issues Today’ on Thursday, Fani-Kayode said he owed no­body any conciliatory sentiment on any deci­sion he takes concerning his political life.

He said, “To God be the greatness and favored be his sacred name. A great deal has changed inside the most recent six years and it is import­ant that we settled on the perfect choices at the ideal time, es­pecially on the off chance that we feel drove by God to settle on those decisions.

“I settle on my decisions, I owe no one any clarification or statement of regret other than my relatives and my God. I realize that I am making the best choice. The main thing for myself and I figure certain individuals will see the value in this is the way that there is no reason for having prin­ciples without power.

“We should have power so whatever standards we enunci­ate, you can impact them. With­out that nothing will change.
