Peter Obi now leading Tinubu in Lagos

In the results of the presidential election that took place on Saturday in Lagos, Peter Obi, the candidate for president from the Labour Party (LP), currently holds the lead.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared 17 local governments by the time this report was filed at 3:34 a.m. before the collation was postponed to 10: 00 am.

Obi has received 449,088 votes overall, while Tinubu has received 416,431 votes and is leaving.

Nevertheless, the results showed that LP won 7 of the aforementioned 17 LGAs while Tinubu won 10 LGs.

Agege, Apapa, Badagry, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, and Surulere are the local governments that Tinubu was able to win.

In contrast, Obi prevailed in Eti-Osa, Amuwo Odofin, Ikeja, Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, and Somolu. Obi also won in Somolu.

At this point, only Alimosho, Ojo, and Mushin’s outcomes are anticipated.

Remember that the Collation Officer initially announced Mushin LG’s result, but it was rejected due to a dispute over the figure.
