Reno Omokri, a socio-political activist, has made a firm commitment that he will not allow Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), to become the President of Nigeria during his lifetime.
Omokri stated that he is willing to spend all he has to ensure that Obi never wins a presidential election in Nigeria. He claimed that his family and he have endured the actions of Obi’s “ill-mannered followers.”
While Peter Obi’s attempt to unseat Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Nigeria’s President was unsuccessful at the tribunal, it will continue at the Supreme Court.
Omokri, however, declared that he will not live to witness Peter Obi’s entry into the Presidential Villa as an elected president.
In his words: “Peter Obi, I am waiting for you in 2027 and 2031, God sparing my life. Because of what your mannerless fascist horde did to my then one-year-old daughter and the rest of my family, I have vowed that you will never smell the Presidency. Never,” he wrote on X shortly after the Tribunal ruled in favor of Tinubu.
