Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress, APC, claims that he has never lost a contest.
Tinubu made the comment while criticizing SGF Babachir Lawal, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, for his recent remarks.
Lawal recently understated Tinubu’s likelihood of victory in the 2023 presidential election.
Lawal stated that a Muslim-Muslim ticket cannot help Tinubu win the presidential election in 2023.
By selecting a Muslim running mate, the APC flag bearer, according to the former SGF, disregarded Northern Christians.
Tinubu responded by describing the former SGF’s remarks as merely speculations.
Tinubu spoke through Bayo Onanuga, the APC Presidential Campaign Council’s Director of Media and Publicity.
He emphasized that Lawal’s statements were absurd projections.
He promised that the upcoming presidential election would be won by a landslide.
Tinubu claimed that the APC and President Muhammadu Buhari would help him win the presidential election.
“Very laughable projections, a few guesses.Asiwaju has never lost an election despite being on the ballot.
With the support of the incumbent President and 22 states under APC control, Aswáj is on track for a landslide victory.
Instead of pontificating about the election’s outcome, let Babachir address the divisions within his renegade group first.
“This man is from Hong LGA in Adamawa State and is amplifying our religious differences with his gang.He stated, “even though we had a Christian on the Buhari ticket, he could not make Buhari win the council in the 2019 election.”
