Dr Cho Ayaba, the President of Ambazonia Governing Council, has called for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
The separatist leader who made the call while reacting to report that Kanu is being subjected to torture and other inhumane treatments, told the Nigerian government to ensure that no harm befall him.
“The threat on the life of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is a threat on the lives of all free leaders across the continent.
“This generation will not sit back and watch tyrants rob the continent of its finest breed. I call on Nigeria to free the leader of the people of Biafra,” he said in a tweet on Thursday.
