Lauretta Onochie was named the substantive chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission, or NDDC, by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday.
Onochie works as President Buhari’s Special Assistant on New Media.
The nomination letters that the president sent to the senate on Wednesday were read by the president at the plenary.
Lawan read out the remaining fifteen members of the NDDC, including General Charles Airhiavbere, the Executive Director, Finance, and Dr. Pius Odubu, the former Deputy Governor of Edo State.
