BREAKING:Kwankwaso disowns Tinubu – The Sun Nigeria

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has scattered reports that its official up-and-comer, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has supported Bola Tinubu for the 2023 races.

The Campaign Organization of Kwankwaso, in proclamation, yesterday, expressed that Kwankwaso was still in the race and had no great explanation or aim to step down for anybody as he has kept on getting a charge out of far and wide help from a larger part of Nigerians.

The assertion by Muyi Fatosa, said when requested from his assessment of Bola Tinubu during a media interview, Kwankwaso answered: “Bola Tinubu is my companion of numerous years, in the event that I had not challenged, I would have suggested him. I don’t wade into controversy of sharpness. We are both in the official race, yet I am a superior up-and-comer.”

The association said it was sad to see many individuals interpreting the assertion as meaning a support of Tinubu and advancing such confused message on the media.

“Our meetings across every one of the conditions of the league, including the Federal Capital Territory proceed, thus far, the input has been positive” they expressed.

In the interim, scarcely three days to go, Kwankwaso is yet to declare his running mate.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), had given July 15 as cutoff time for the 18 official possibility to submit or substitute names of their running mates.

He had considered Peter Obi, official competitor of the Labor Party (LP) as his running mate, yet Obi, a previous legislative leader of Anambra State, dismissed the deal.
