Bullets Cannot stop our quest for Biafra restoration — IPOB

Yesterday, the Indigenous People of Biafra, or IPoB, declared that no matter how brutally its members are treated, it will continue to demand a right to self-determination, stating that the use of bullets cannot halt an event whose time has come.

Additionally, the pro-Biafra group stated that it is committed to liberating the South East from terrorists who intend to subjugate the region through intimidation and force.

In a statement, IPoB urged other women in Igbo land to follow in the footsteps of Abia women and demand the unconditional release of group leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The statement praised Abia women for their peaceful protest.

The IPoB’s statement said: We, the global family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPoB, led by Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu Kanu, commend the Biafran women in Abia State for their tenacity and determination to restore the Biafra Nation. This was demonstrated by their recent peaceful and prayerful protests in Aba, Abia State, where they demanded that the federal government of Nigeria and its Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Alhaji Ab

We are indebted to both those who came up with the idea and those who worked to ensure that the protest was peacefully coordinated.

The Nigerian government must be aware that they will not submit to us in any way. No matter how brutally they treat us, we must continue to demand our rights to self-determination. A thing whose time has come cannot be halted by the force of bullets.

“We are ready to do anything humanly possible to liberate the land of Biafra from terrorists,” IPoB stated. “We are out to liberate both men and women.”

Thank you for your sacrifices, all-powerful Chukwu Okike Abiama. We urge other women in other states in Biafra to follow suit and demand Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s unconditional release. Because he hasn’t broken any laws, the Nigerian government has no choice but to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
