Election for president: I’m not scared of untruths, promulgation — Peter Obi

Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in the election on February 25 has stated that he does not fear what he calls “lies” and “propaganda” directed against him, describing it as part of the journey toward a new Nigeria.

I have always followed the law to the fullest extent possible. We all make mistakes from time to time, but I will never knowingly violate any law.

“I’m, thusly, not terrified of the untruths and promulgation against my individual, which are important for the excursion to Another Nigeria,” Obi said at the Public Leader Chamber, NEC, meeting of the Work Party in Asaba, Delta State on Tuesday.
He claims that those who oppose the establishment of the New Nigeria may continue to slam him, but he insists that he will never be discouraged by any obstacles in his path to victory.

He assured Nigerians that he would never give up on their quest to reclaim their mandate for a New Nigeria and urged them to maintain their composure and resolve throughout the process.

Obi said that he never thought the journey to New Nigeria would be easy, and he added that the forces that had grown up under the old order would always fight back, as is happening right now.

He stated, ” We will respond to them on land, air, and sea if they come at us from any direction, but we will always uphold the law and never give up on the nation.

We will continue to adhere to the course because we are on the right track.

“The large numbers of Nigerians who decided in favor of me didn’t simply project their votes, however they put their expectation in me. They merit equity, so we should finish what has been started. ” In addition, my commitment extends beyond regaining our mandate to alleviating poverty. I will continue to work toward changing Nigeria, beginning in the north and expanding throughout the country.

He reaffirmed his dedication to a “Nigeria that will be beneficial to every Nigerian” and emphasized that the struggle to reclaim the mandate is not about him as a person but rather about the millions of Nigerians who voted for him.
