The Niger Delta Agitators Group distances itself from the endorsement of Atiku/Okowa.

A group known as the 21st Century Youths of the Niger Delta and Agitators with Conscience (21st CYNDAC) has disassociated itself from the so-called Reform Niger Delta Avengers’ (RNDA) endorsement of Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate and former Vice President, and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, his running mate, of Delta state.

The group believes in the Pan Niger Delta Forum, or PANDEF, which is led by Chief Edwin Clark, a former Federal Commissioner for Information and South South Leader, and asserts that the people of Niger Delta are not without elders and leadership, nor are they in a state of confusion.

Keep in mind that elder statesman Edwin Clark had publicly endorsed Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate and former governor of Anambra State, as his preferred candidate for the position of president.

The group described the Atiku/Okowa ticket as a political sabotage of Southern Nigeria by the PDP and the Delta State Governor in a statement signed yesterday by its coordinator, Gen. Izon Ebi.

“The 21st CYNDAC therefore calls the RNDA and OKOWA political saboteurs and distances itself from the endorsement of the Atiku/Okowa ticket. “As stakeholders and agitators in the struggle who are honest and conscientious, we wholeheartedly condemn this maladjusted, bizarre, self-defeating, and unpatriotic statement aimed at misleading the people of the Niger Delta into going against our collective agreement after we unanimously endorsed the Obi/Datti and LP ticket.

The PDP and governor Okowa are using the Atiku/Okowa ticket as political sabotage against the entire southern region of Nigeria.

“Remember: ” After the agreement was signed by the federal government, these extremely narcissistic and divisive individuals opposed the establishment of the maritime university at Akerenkoko.

Elders and leaders abound in the Nigerian Delta: We are not lost in our thoughts. Our region is represented by the Pan Niger Delta Organization, also known as PANDEF. We have distinguished Elders and Royal fathers, not these charlatans and rascals who present themselves as spokespersons, and all of us continue to listen to and respect their words of wisdom.

We advise them to keep their insignificant lies to themselves. Because violence will not be tolerated in the Niger Delta during the upcoming presidential election on February 25, 2023, the 21st CYNDAC advises the so-called RNDA to go get their permanent Votes Cards (PVC).

As a result, “we urge Niger Delta people to vote for the future of the region, our mothers, and generations to come for a new Nigeria.”
