This Is A Monday I Will Not Forget: Lalong Celebrates Victory At The Tribunal

I am overwhelmed with joy following our recent triumph at the Senatorial Election Petition Tribunal here in Jos. I want to express my profound gratitude to God and the remarkable people of Plateau South Senatorial District for their unwavering support.

This Monday will forever hold a special place in my heart. While presiding over an official function at the Ministry of Labour and Employment in Abuja, I received the news of the tribunal’s decision. The verdict, which nullified my opponent’s previous declaration and declared me the rightful winner, filled me with immense satisfaction. To me, this victory represents a significant moment for democracy and justice.

I wish to extend my sincere appreciation to the members of the tribunal for their thorough examination of our arguments and the presentations made by my party, the APC. Their commitment to upholding the principles of fairness and transparency has not gone unnoticed.

I must also applaud my dedicated supporters and the loyal members of the APC in Plateau State. Throughout this entire process, they remained unwavering and displayed remarkable composure while awaiting the tribunal’s verdict. Their steadfast support has been a wellspring of strength for me.
