Reno Omokri, a social and political activist, has urged the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to help Rotimi Amaechi, the former Minister of Transportation.
Omokri said that if Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike and his G-5 group back another presidential candidate, Atiku should help Amaechi.
But he urged the PDP to do everything in its power to keep Wike in the party.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Bola Tinubu and the Labour Party (LP) flagbearer Peter Obi are thought to be on the G-5 governors’ minds.
Omokri, on the other hand, stated that the PDP should support Amaechi because the party created him.
Omokri wrote in a tweet: Please allow us to do everything in our power, PDP, to keep Wike in the party. Let us, on the other hand, extend a right hand of fellowship to Rotimi Amaechi if, despite our best efforts, he endorses outside the party. Amaechi was made by PDP. And we are aware that he and Wike cannot coexist.”
