India has ordered a high-level investigation after accidentally firing a missile into Pakistan, reports BBC News.
The missile launch happened on March 9.
India acknowledged it two days later, blaming a “technical malfunction” during maintenance, says the BBC.
Pakistan says the “high-speed flying object” crashed near the city of Mian Channu, according to the military.
No one died but Pakistan says the missile endangered passenger flights.
They’ve demanded a joint investigation.
