BREAKING: Abba Kyari Buried In Abuja [PHOTOS]

SAHARANEWS – The remains of the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari, have been laid to rest at the Gudu Cementery in Abuja.



Kyari had died on Friday after contracting the Coronavirus (COVID-19) during an official duty in Germany.

Islamic funeral rites were performed for the deceased at the Defence Guest House, Maitama Abuja on Saturday.



The Defence house was his residence up until his death.

His corpse was subsequently moved to the Gudu Cementery in Abuja.



In a eulogy during the rites at his residence, the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, said Kyari would be remembered for his “dedication and loyalty.”

Other top government functionaries in attendance, include the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama and members of the Presidential Tax Force on COVID-19 were also present.
