SAHARANEWS – The Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) says there are now 7,028 confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in 50 countries across Africa.
The health agency disclosed this in a tweet on its official Twitter account on Friday morning.
According to the tweet, COVID-19 had killed 284 people in Africa, while a total of 561 patients recovered from the deadly disease across the continent.
