Nnamdi Kanu says that the Nigerian government is funding the unrest in Biafra.

Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lead counsel for the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), provided an update on the outcomes of the day’s visit by his team of lawyers to their client, IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is currently illegally detained in the dungeon of the Nigerian Department of State Services (DSS).

Ejiofor who made the update at around 18:00WAT of twelfth December 2022, expressed that his client, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is definitively refering to Nigeria government and a few compelling people/organizations of the public authority as being straightforwardly liable for the new heightening of guiltiness in the South East Locale of the Nation Biafraland.

Ejiofor said that his client calls the criminal elements of the wanton destruction “known criminals,” that they are sponsored by the same people who delayed announcing a date for his appeal hearing in the Apex Court, and that his client calls them soulless.

“UPDATE ON OUR VISIT TO OUR INSUFFICIENT CLIENT, ONYENDU MAZI NNAMDI KANU, AT THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE SECURITY SERVICE (DSS), ABUJA, WHERE HE IS STILL BEING ILLEGALLY AND UNCONSTITUTIONALLY DETAINED IN SOLITARY CONFINEMENT:

Today, the 12th of December 2022, we paid Onyendu a visit at the DSS Headquarters in Abuja to provide him with relevant updates on the status of the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN)’s appeal to the Supreme Court against the Court of Appeal’s decision to release Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and prevent his further detention, trial, or prosecution.

We observed during our briefing that, in addition to the obvious fact that the Federal Government has virtually abandoned the appeal by deliberately refusing to file ANY court process in prosecuting the appeal, which they initiated against the judgment of the Court of Appeal, there is a need to inform the world, as instructed by Onyendu, that those presently responsible for the delay in assigning a date for the speedy hearing of this appeal before the Apex Court are the same individuals or institutions that are relentlessly funding the criminal activities of soulless elements Otherwise, the release or freedom of Onyendu will be determined by the speedy hearing of this appeal, forcing the criminal elements to immediately leave our land and desert it.

Onyendu urges everyone, but especially foreign governments and institutions, to get the court to set a date for his appeal’s hearing. Onyendu didn’t preclude conceivable strain from the people who have been wrecked in their own Court, however he is demanding that equity should be finished and seen to be finished for his situation. Onyendu cited a case in which the court granted an order halting the execution of his judgment from the same court quickly but reversed course when it came to assigning a date for our appeal’s hearing at the Supreme Court.

In conclusion, Onyendu expressed complete faith in the expertise of his legal team, which was ably led by the man of letters, our indefatigable Chief Mike Ozekhome, SAN, as well as our capacity to once more outwit the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Onyendu was pleased that millions of his followers did not disappoint him, especially when it came to his directive that the alleged sit-at-home order, which was issued by known enemies of our land, was never followed. Onyendu gave an order for the criminals who are still rampaging to be snatched from their hideouts. They are supposedly being supported by the enemies of his peaceful movement in their desperate effort to destroy our land completely. Onyendu also asked UmuChineke to discreetly smoke these soulless beings out of their various hideouts while keeping an eye on their behavior.

Onyendu vehemently rebuked the rash of mindless and ill-advised murders and destructions carried out by these criminals. He sincerely sympathizes with those whose lives and/or possessions were destroyed in these attacks.

May Ezigbo UmuChineke be reminded once more of the suffering Onyendu endures on a daily basis in order to free his people. Don’t forget in a hurry that this great servant of his people takes more than ten pills every day, and that drugs rarely arrive when needed. Some days, the DSS doesn’t listen to him and leaves him for days before giving him the medicine again. Therefore, it is beyond comprehension that these people who claim to be acting in Onyendu’s best interests could blatantly disregard or ignore his advice; which situation necessitates a thorough examination of these soulless beings to ascertain whether or not they have Igbo blood in their veins.

Onyendu is still extremely appreciative of your uncommon unity, love, and loyalty, and he continues to urge you to adhere to the law as you have always done.

Ezigbo UmuChineke, thank you all, and continue to be blessed.

We shift!

Signed:

Attorney Sir Ifeanyi Ejiofor KSC) Lead Counsel for IPOB on December 12, 2022.”
